Known for her Operas and Vocal works, contemporary composer, Isabelle Aboulker has won numerous prizes for her compositions. Les Fables Enchantées appeal to all ages and are a sublime addition to the Vocal repertoire. Aboulker has done a significant amount of work with children and as a result, she has composed special pieces to which they can relate. This is true of Les Fables Enchantées which is based on the fables by Jean de la Fontaine. Written for soprano, mezzo-soprano, baritone and a very young voice, the fifteen fables metamorphose into five mini operas. As an exciting, alternative collection of songs in the Vocal repertoire, Aboulker ''s Les Fables Enchantées are an exquisite addition to any singer''s repertoire.
