‘Mariachi’ refers to typical Mexican street bands as well a musical genre which has been recognized since 2011 on the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Mexicana is a tribute to this vivid music and was a commission from the French cultural association “Lille 3000” as part of the 2019 Eldorado thematic edition. This colourful piece is full of rhythm, drive and good vibes, perfect to get your audience moving!
