In 1775, at the ripe old age of 19, Mozart decided to write a few violin concerti. His efforts that year (among other things) provided us with five of the greatest such works in musical history. Here is his first effort, a beautiful classical violin concerto, with all the Mozart trademarks. We also include the Rondo Concertant, which Mozart wrote as a replacement third movement for this concerto, though it later became a popular piece on its own standing! This edition includes a special reduced-tempo version to help you "get up to speed."
Includes a high-quality printed music score, with informative liner notes, and two compact disc containing a complete digital stereo version with soloist; then a second version of the orchestral accompaniment, minus the soloist. Includes a -12.5% reduced tempo version of the accompaniment for your practicing ease.
