With Larry Grenadier and Bill Stewart beside him, Metheny extends his musical arms to embrace just about every facet of the modern Jazz guitar. From the serene, bluesy beauty of Into A Dream (featuring the 42 string Pikasso guitar), to the raw and avant garde Faith Healer. Counting Texas boasts a fretless 12 string guitar, complete with Metheny's trademark Guitar Synth processing which is also a dominant feature of Question And Answer.

Every note from the double album has been painstakingly transcribed, with all transcriptions approved by Metheny himself.
