In the summer of 1990, Kumiko Tanaka travelled around Europeand whilst in Spain she was most impressed by the places in theAndalusian region, such as Cordoba, Granada and Malaga. Blue skies,white walls and the bright sun all attracted her. Each alley she exploredreflected Arabian, Islamic or Jewish tradition and had its own uniquefeel, which remained in the traveller’s heart for many years.
