Marc Jeanbourquin found inspiration for his composition Mazel Tov in traditional klezmer music. The title of the work means ‘congratulations’ in Hebrew-a wish heard at weddings, births and bah mitzvahs. Marc Jeanbourquin’s work includes soundsof mournful longing typical of klezmer as well as lively passages seducing the listener to dance. A rousing piece of music to celebrate. Mazel Tov!
