Graduale for female or boy's chorus (SSA), two violins and basso contuinuo
Michael Haydn (1737-1806) followed the path of his older brother, Joseph, to Vienna to bceomea chorister at St Stephen's Cathedral. Following his studies, and after several years of making a precarious living in Vienna, in 1762 he was appointed court musician and concertmaster in Salzburg where he remained for the rest ofhis life. He left a large body of compositions of both church music and instrumental works.
