James Vivian is currently Director of Music at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, having previously served as Director of Music at the Temple Church in London. He was educated at King's College, Cambridge, where he was the DrAH Mann Organ Student and studied the organ with Colin Walsh, David Sanger, and Marie-Louise Langlais. He is active as a recitalist and conductor and has performed concerts in Brazil, the US, Japan, South Africa, and throughoutEurope. He has recorded with labels such as Signum, EMI, Decca, SonyBMG, and Hyperion.
